My passion for photography goes back to the early 60s when I purchased a Kodak camera. I loved taking pictures and was excited to develop them and see the result. I thought I could do better and tried to improve. Finding interesting subjects in my area was challenging and I dreamed of far-off places like the camera magazines featured.
My first good camera was an Argus C3 rangefinder.
After college, I was employed at a photography studio and used a Yashica MAT 124, The medium format camera, for portraits.
Before the world turned to digital, I processed rolls of Ektachrome and black and white film.
Today I use a Nikon D810 with a 24mm-70mm lens.
